Dr Garry Williams
Director of the John Owen Centre
Dr Williams oversees the different activities of the JOC and teaches the Doctrine Study Days. He is also Visiting Professor of Historical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary and teaches on the ThM programme.
As part of his work, Dr Williams engages in ongoing research and publication. His long-term project is to publish a biblical, historical, and systematic study of the doctrine of penal substitutionary atonement. Along the way he has published chapters and articles that will in another form appear in that work. These are included in the list of publications below. He also hopes to continue to write more popular works, including a volume offering encouragement and challenge to Christians today from the lives of figures in church history.
